How much does Academy of Fine Arts Munich cost for international students?
The Academy of Fine Arts Munich charges no tuition fees for its programmes. It is a public art school funded by the state of Bavaria, and its published fees list only the semester contribution and no separate charge for students from outside the EU.
What every student pays is the semester contribution of 97 EUR per semester for winter 2026/27. The whole amount is the basic fee for Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern. Unlike most German universities, it does not include a Deutschlandticket, because the semester ticket solidarity fee is currently suspended. Students in Bavaria can order the discounted Deutschlandticket separately from MVG for 43 EUR per month.

| Interior Architecture (Bachelor and Master) | No tuition fees |
