How much does DIU – Dresden International University cost for international students?

DIU is a private, state-recognised university, so it charges tuition for every programme. Fees are set per programme and charged monthly, and the programme pages publish one rate, with no separate fee for non-EU students. After the admission letter, DIU charges an enrolment fee of 2,000 EUR. The tuition for the first year has to be paid before DIU issues the unconditional letter you need for your visa appointment.

DIU's international pages do not state a semester contribution or a semester ticket, so check this with DIU before you enrol.

How many programmes are taught in English?

DIU lists three English-taught Master's programmes taught on campus in Dresden:

  • Logistics Management (MBA)
  • Industrial Management in Microelectronics (M.Sc.)
  • Advanced Materials Characterization and Non-Destructive Testing (M.Sc.), next start to be announced

Further English programmes are delivered online or part-time and are not counted here, because online study generally does not qualify for a German student visa.
