How much does Friedensau Adventist University cost for international students?
Friedensau Adventist University is a church-run, state-recognised university and charges tuition to all students, EU and non-EU alike: from 2,100 EUR per semester for Bachelor's programmes and from 2,340 EUR per semester for Master's programmes, depending on the programme. After admission, non-EU students pay a down payment of 500 EUR if they use a blocked account, or 6,000 EUR if they use a Declaration of Commitment; it is set off against the university fees and is due by 31 May, earlier than the 31 August date for EU students.
On top of tuition, every student pays a registration fee of 380 EUR per semester. Students receive a semester ticket for public transport in the Jerichower Land district and Magdeburg; it is not a Deutschlandticket. Rates are set each year in the university's Financial Bulletin, so confirm the current figures for your programme with the university.
| Item | Cost for international students |
|---|---|
| Bachelor | From 2,100 EUR per semester |

| Down payment after admission (non-EU, offset against fees) | 500 EUR with a blocked account, 6,000 EUR with a Declaration of Commitment |

Tuition fees do not replace the proof of funds. For the student visa you still need to show 11,904 EUR for the year, usually in a blocked account, on top of the tuition you pay the university.
