How much does Health Innovation University of Applied Sciences cost for international students?
Health Innovation University is a private, state-recognised university and charges tuition for every programme, paid in monthly instalments, the same for EU and non-EU students. On top come a one-off registration fee and a one-off examination fee. The university publishes no separate semester contribution. For both English Master's programmes, the university advertises scholarships of up to 25 percent of tuition, for example a discount for paying a year in advance; check the current offer for your intake.
| Item | Cost for international students |
|---|---|
| Digital Health (M.Sc., English, 3 semesters) | 957 EUR per month, 17,226 EUR in total |
| Health Care Education and Educational Management (M.A., English, 4 semesters) | 948 EUR per month, 22,752 EUR in total |
| Registration fee (one-off) | 250 EUR (German Bachelor's: 330 EUR) |
| Examination fee (one-off) | 690 EUR |
Fees as published on the programme pages in October 2026; the university gives no validity year, so confirm them with admissions before you apply.
Tuition fees come on top of the proof of funds. For the student visa you still need to show 11,904 EUR for the year, usually in a blocked account, and that money has to be transferred months before the semester starts.
What are the application deadlines?
| Degree | Intake | Deadline |
|---|---|---|
| Digital Health (M.Sc., English) | 1 October or 1 April | No fixed deadline |
| Health Care Education and Educational Management (M.A., English) | 1 October or 1 April | No fixed deadline |

The university publishes no application deadlines and no separate date for non-EU applicants; admission is rolling, and you apply through the online form on its website, after which admissions contacts you. If you need a visa, apply at least four to six months before your intake and confirm the timing with admissions.
How many programmes are taught in English?
Two full-time, on-campus Master's programmes in Berlin are taught in English: Digital Health (M.Sc.) and Health Care Education and Educational Management (M.A.). Both require English at IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 80. Three further English Master's programmes are listed but not yet approved: Physiotherapy (M.Sc., in accreditation), Organisational Psychology and Nursing (M.Sc., in state approval and accreditation). The Bachelor's programmes labelled "de/en" are taught in German according to their programme pages, and most German-taught Bachelor's run part-time on weekends, which does not support a student visa.
