How much does Kiel University of Applied Sciences cost for international students?

The university's fees page states that there are no tuition fees at Kiel University of Applied Sciences, and that individual programmes may charge additional costs. The exception for international students is the Industrial Engineering Master, a fee-based continuing-education programme taught as blended learning (mostly online with mandatory on-campus phases), which costs 9,900 EUR in total including the Master's thesis. Because it is mostly online, check with the university whether it supports a student visa before applying.

Every student pays a semester contribution of 337.70 EUR plus an administration fee of 60 EUR, 397.70 EUR in total for winter 2026/27. It includes the Deutschland-Semesterticket (226.80 EUR), which is not charged for the Faculty of Agriculture, online programmes and Industrial Engineering. New students also pay a one-off enrolment fee of 100 EUR.
