How much does Catholic University of Applied Sciences Munich (KSH) cost for international students?
KSH Munich is a state-recognised university run by a Catholic foundation and charges no tuition fees. No separate fee for non-EU students is published.
Students pay only the semester contribution, which goes to the Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern: 97.00 EUR per semester at the Munich campus for winter 2026/27. The additional semester ticket contribution is currently suspended; students can buy the discounted student Deutschlandticket separately.
| Item | Cost for international students |
|---|---|
| Bachelor | No tuition fees |
| Master | No tuition fees |
| Semester contribution (everyone, Munich campus) | 97.00 EUR per semester (winter 2026/27) |
No tuition does not mean no proof of funds. For the student visa you still need to show 11,904 EUR for the year, usually in a blocked account, and that money has to be transferred months before the semester starts.
