| Item | Cost for international students |
|---|---|
| Bachelor | No tuition fees |
| Master | No tuition fees |
| Semester fee (everyone) | 88 EUR per semester |
No tuition does not mean no proof of funds. For the student visa you still need to show 11,904 EUR for the year, usually in a blocked account, and that money has to be transferred months before the semester starts.
What are the application deadlines?
| Degree | Intake | Deadline (non-EU) |
|---|---|---|
| M.Sc. Business Administration, International Business Administration (degree from outside the EU) | Winter | 15 May |
| M.Sc. Business Administration (application window) | Winter / summer | April to June (winter), December to January (summer) |
| Other programmes | Per programme | See the programme page |
KU sets deadlines per programme, and applicants whose previous degree is from outside the EU may have an earlier deadline: for International Business Administration, 15 May rather than 15 June. Applicants with a foreign school certificate can only start in the first semester of a programme. Most applications go through KU's own portal, where the programme only appears during its application period; non-EU applicants for Data Science (B.Sc.) and Business & Psychology apply via uni-assist only. Check your programme's page at ku.de/studienangebot for the exact dates.
How many programmes are taught in English?
KU offers 6 degree programmes taught in English: Data Science (B.Sc.), Data Science (M.Sc.), Business & Psychology (M.Sc.), Conflict, Memory and Peace (M.A.), International Relations (M.A.) and Business Administration (M.Sc.), with English-taught majors in Business Administration International, Business Analytics and Operations Research, Digital Customer Experience & Service Design, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Several Business Administration majors offer double-degree options abroad.
