How much does Landshut University of Applied Sciences cost for international students?
Landshut University of Applied Sciences charges no tuition fees for regular degree programmes, for EU and non-EU students alike. The university states that studying there is free of charge.
Every student pays the student union fee to the Studierendenwerk Niederbayern/Oberpfalz when enrolling and re-registering, via ePayment in the PRIMUSS portal. Since winter 2026/27 it no longer includes the bus ticket for the Landshut area, and it does not include a Deutschlandticket.

The part-time MBA & Eng. in Process Management and Resource Efficiency is a fee-based continuing-education programme (19,975 EUR in total). It is taught on Fridays and Saturdays for working professionals and is not suitable for a student visa.
For your visa you also need proof of funds of 11,904 EUR for the year (2026, Federal Foreign Office), usually in a blocked account.

Applicants with foreign school or university certificates first get a preliminary review (VPD) from uni-assist and then apply in Landshut's PRIMUSS portal. Applicants from China, Vietnam and India also need an APS certificate. One Landshut page gives the end of July for the Bachelor's deadline, so confirm your date with the Student Service Centre and apply early. You need German at B2 for Bachelor's and C1 for most Master's, or English for the English-taught programmes.
