How much does OTH Regensburg cost for international students?
OTH Regensburg states that there are no tuition fees at Bavarian universities. All students pay a semester contribution, currently 208 EUR for winter semester 2026/27. Since winter semester 2024/25, OTH Regensburg additionally charges non-EU students a 500 EUR service fee per semester in five named programmes: International Computer Science, International Electrical Engineering, International Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Microsystems Engineering, and Mathematics for Business and Industry. International Management is not subject to this service fee.

Restricted-admission status and deadlines are programme-specific: International Computer Science is restricted admission (NC) with a winter deadline of 15 July, while International Mechanical Engineering and International Electrical Engineering are not restricted and currently close on 15 September.
How do you apply to OTH Regensburg?
Applications are submitted through OTH Regensburg's application portal. For Bachelor applicants with most non-German school qualifications, a uni-assist VPD is required before the OTH application can be completed. Applicants with certificates from China or Vietnam generally submit the relevant APS certificate instead; if the APS certificate contains no grade, a VPD is also required.
