How much does Saarland University cost for international students?
Saarland University charges no tuition fees for a first degree or a consecutive Master's, for EU and non-EU students alike. Every student pays the semester contribution.
| Item | Cost for international students |
|---|---|
| Bachelor's and consecutive Master's | No tuition fees |
| Semester contribution (winter 2026/27) | 412.30 EUR per semester |
| – of which nationwide student ticket | 226.80 EUR |
| – of which Studierendenwerk, AStA and insurance | 135.50 EUR |

The student ticket is valid throughout Germany to the same extent as the Deutschlandticket.
