How much does SRH University of Applied Sciences Heidelberg cost for international students?

SRH Heidelberg is a private university and charges tuition for every programme. For students from outside the EU and EEA, fees are set per programme and stay the same for the whole period of study. The Baden-Württemberg fee of 1,500 EUR per semester for non-EU students applies only at state universities; SRH charges its own tuition instead.

ItemCost for non-EU/EEA students
Bachelor's (Heidelberg campus)About 5,100 to 5,650 EUR per semester
Master's (Heidelberg campus)About 5,450 to 6,950 EUR per semester
Enrolment fee1,000 EUR, one time
Semester transport ticketPrice set by the transport authority

The ranges come from SRH's official non-EU price list valid from April 2025; programme pages for newer intakes can show different amounts (for example from 4,500 EUR for some International Business Administration tracks), so check the fee on your programme page. Discounts of 3 % apply for paying a year in advance and 5 % for paying the full programme in advance. There is no separate Studierendenwerk semester contribution.

Paying tuition does not replace the proof of funds. For the student visa you still need to show 11,904 EUR for the year, usually in a blocked account, and that money has to be transferred months before the semester starts. The tuition comes on top of that.

What are the application deadlines?

SRH has no application deadlines, and applications are accepted at any time. For non-EU applicants, SRH recommends applying by the dates below to leave enough time for the visa. Non-EU students must pay the first year's tuition before their visa appointment.
