How much does Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm cost for international students?

TH Nürnberg charges students from non-EEA countries tuition under the Bavarian Higher Education Innovation Act: 1,000 EUR per semester for students enrolling from winter 2026/27. Holders of a German school-leaving qualification, graduates of a German degree of at least six semesters and people with an established connection to Germany do not pay it. Some programmes are exempt, for example the Master's in International Finance and Economics and in International Marketing in winter 2026/27, so check the current list on the tuition page. Already enrolled students keep the conditions in their fee notice.

What are the application deadlines?

TH Nürnberg publishes one set of dates for all applicants, with no separate date for non-EU applicants; 10% of places in restricted programmes are reserved for international applicants. Applications go through the university's own Ohm portal, not uni-assist, and restricted Bachelor's programmes also need registration on hochschulstart.de. Most Bachelor's programmes start in the winter semester only.
