How much does University of Business and Management Mannheim (HdWM) cost for international students?

HdWM is a private university, so every programme charges tuition, set in its own fee regulations. Students from outside the EU pay higher monthly rates than EU students for the English-taught programmes. Tuition is charged for every month of the programme, including breaks and the internship semester. Non-EU students get a 10 percent discount if they pay a full year at once.

A leave semester costs 10 percent of the monthly fee, and early termination of the contract costs 390 EUR. Payment is by direct debit from a German bank account, which you must open by the start of studies. The rates are from the fee regulations of 25 June 2025, so confirm them in your study contract.

The tuition fee comes on top of the proof-of-funds requirement. For the student visa you still need to show 11,904 EUR for the year, usually in a blocked account.

What are the application deadlines?

HdWM publishes no application deadline for any applicant group. Applications open up to one year before the start of studies and go directly to the university online or by email; after admission you sign a study contract within 14 days.
