How much does University of Music Freiburg cost for international students?

Students who are not citizens of an EU or EEA country pay a tuition fee of 1,500 EUR per semester, set by Baden-Württemberg state law since winter 2017/18; the university has its own statute on exemptions. EU and EEA citizens pay no tuition for Bachelor's and consecutive Master's programmes. Separately, the Konzertexamen (Meisterklasse) costs 1,000 EUR per semester, non-consecutive Master's programmes cost 500 EUR per semester, and a second degree costs 650 EUR per semester. The university does not say whether non-EU students in the Konzertexamen pay both the 1,000 EUR and the 1,500 EUR fee, so confirm this with the university.

Every student pays the semester contribution of 203 EUR: 103 EUR for the Studierendenwerk Freiburg (including 28 EUR for a basic regional semester ticket), 80 EUR administrative fee and 20 EUR for the student body. It does not include a Deutschlandticket. Each audition registration costs 50 EUR.
