How much does University of Music Würzburg cost for international students?
The University of Music Würzburg charges no tuition fees, for EU and non-EU students alike. Only certificate courses, guest study and continuing education have their own fees.
Every student pays the semester contribution. As of February 2026 it was 180 EUR per semester, made up of the semester ticket and the contribution to the Studierendenwerk Würzburg. The ticket covers public transport in the Würzburg region; it is not the Deutschlandticket, but students can upgrade to the discounted Deutschlandticket. The ticket price rises to 110.10 EUR from winter 2026/27, so confirm the current total with the university.
