How much does University of Technology Nuremberg (UTN) cost for international students?

UTN states that its programmes are free of tuition fees. Bavarian law allows state universities to charge students from outside the EU, and some other Bavarian universities have introduced such fees, but UTN publishes no tuition fee for non-EU students. Confirm this with UTN before you apply, especially for the new Bachelor's programme.

Every student pays the semester contribution for the Studierendenwerk Erlangen-Nürnberg. For winter 2025/26 it was 72 EUR; it must reach UTN before you submit your enrolment application. Applicants with a degree from outside Germany also pay the uni-assist handling fee.
