What are the application deadlines?
The academy publishes one set of dates for all applicants and states that applicants of all nationalities are treated equally. You apply through its own online portal; uni-assist is not used, and the academy checks foreign certificates itself.

For the Bachelor's and Fine Arts programmes, the aptitude test takes place in mid-February, with invitations sent in late January; original documents are due by the end of March. Transfer applications to a higher semester have separate periods.
How many programmes are taught in English?
No degree programme is taught fully in English. German is the language of instruction, and the aptitude test is held mainly in German.
The academy offers 10 full-time degree programmes in German: four Bachelor's in Design, the Diplom in Fine Arts (its specialisations counted once), four Master's in Design and the Master's in Spatial Strategies. The part-time Master's in Art Therapy is not counted, as it is not a route to a student visa.
