How much does Worms University of Applied Sciences cost for international students?
Worms University of Applied Sciences charges no tuition fees for its regular Bachelor's and consecutive Master's programmes, for international students as for German students. The exceptions are two part-time continuing-education MBAs, Aviation Management and Business Travel Management, which are fee-based and taught in German; part-time study generally does not qualify for a student visa. Applicants with foreign school or university certificates first apply to uni-assist for a preliminary review documentation (VPD).
From summer semester 2026 the re-registration semester fee is 155.70 EUR, which includes the student body (AStA) fee and the Studierendenwerk Vorderpfalz contribution. The Deutschlandsemesterticket is compulsory for all enrolled students and is charged on top at enrolment and re-registration. The university has not yet published the current ticket price; the national price from winter 2026/27 is 226.80 EUR, so please confirm the exact total with the Studierendenservice (rueckmeldung@hs-worms.de), including whether first enrolment costs the same as re-registration.

What are the application deadlines?
| Degree | Intake | Deadline (non-EU) |
|---|---|---|
| Bachelor's, restricted admission (incl. Aviation Management B.A.) | Winter | 15 July (applications open 2 May) |
| Bachelor's, restricted admission (incl. Aviation Management B.A.) | Summer | 15 January (applications open 2 November) |
| Master's: Global Trade Management, Entrepreneurship | Winter | 15 June |
| Master's: Global Trade Management, Entrepreneurship | Summer | 15 December |
| Master's, restricted admission (other programmes) | Winter / Summer | 15 July / 15 January |
| Bachelor's and Master's, open admission | Winter | 31 August |
| Bachelor's and Master's, open admission | Summer | 28 February (29 February in a leap year) |
One set of dates applies to all applicants. Applicants with foreign certificates must first obtain a uni-assist VPD, which the university says takes about 6 to 8 weeks, so start well before the deadline. If you need a student visa, apply as early as possible; the late open-admission deadlines leave little time for the visa process.
How many programmes are taught in English?
3 English-taught programmes (1 Bachelor's, 2 Master's):
- Aviation Management (Bachelor) – English at B2
- Global Trade Management (Master), classic or cooperative
- Entrepreneurship (Master), classic or cooperative
The cooperative variants are studied with a partner company, so you need a contract with that company. The two Master's programmes require a Bachelor's degree (at least 180 credits) with a grade of 3.0 or better and business or economics modules.
